Description
Elly wasn't surprised in the slightest to end up captive yet again, especially on her birthday. It's the blessing/curse of having one on April Fools Day, she guesses. Certainly not the first time. Whatever clever ruse was pulled on her as a trap worked as expected, and thus she resigned herself to what would happen next. However, neither she (nor I, apparently 
) expected her 'twin' Allie to enter the scene in such a forceful way. Yet, could some doubt be placed on her motive?
Coming to the rescue as a heroine should, especially considering the captive? Makes sense.
Just wanted to get in a good hit on this villain? A sore jaw would believe it.
Dealing out punishment for the panty peek, even with hose on? Maybe.
Annoyed that Elly gets far, far more pic love than she does and wanted to make that clear? Eh, could be.
Or angry that she wasn't included in the capture, despite it being her birthday as well? Doubtful, but who knows...?

Personally, I find this a refreshing change. Here we see Allie, one of the regular DiD heroines kicking butt (or in this case, Parasyte's head). It serves as a nice reminder that Allie's heroine costume isn't just for show. Given the chance, Allie, Elly and the other heroines can be competent heroines and are perfectly capable of defending themselves.
I guess this is why I loved the short, 8-part story featuring Canis Lupus and Hypergirl. Both heroines were shown to be capable of defending themselves and taking down that regular thug. However, smarts villains like Agents M & W were able to use the distraction to surprise and stun both heroines. Nevertheless, the resourceful heroines were able to find a way to free themselves and escape in the end.
Any chance you could draw a new action pic featuring Elly in her heroine costume and competently taking down a thug or two? I was also hoping to see her with her sleep dart gun (along with a holster) like in these two pics:

Finally, it has been a pretty long while since we've last seen a romantic scene between Elly and her boyfriend/fiancé/husband(?) Tim aka Knighthawk. Any chance you can consider drawing new Elly+Tim romance pics too? These six pics have remained my top romantic favorites:
